BAE NATION will be a quarterly showcase of Winnipeg's best and brightest talents.
Dana Smith
Dana Smith
Dana Smith is a performer who wears many hats; writer, sketch artist, stand up comic, and actor.

Dana co-created and performed in the 2013 fringe play "Comedy Plus Time Equals Tragedy" and co-created "Lady Skits" in the 2012 Fringe.
As a cast member in "The Week Thus Far", Dana is a proficient writer in news satire, sketch, and Stand up.
Melanie Dahling
Melanie Dahling is an actor/stand-up/writer born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. You may recognize her from a variety of fringe festival plays, as well as television appearances on Todd and The Book of Pure Evil and promos for 92citifm. In her short time working as a comedian she has performed in the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, opened for Chantel Marostica in Queer and Present Danger, and is a crowd favourite at the annual Femfest Cabaret. You can keep up to date with future shows by adding “sugardahling” to twitter and instagram.
Ashley Burdett
Ashley Burdett
Ashley Burdett was born and raised in Winnipeg and she loves this wintery city. She has been performing improv for over 10 years, most recently with Blind Date and Bravo Rocket. She spent five glorious seasons with Soap Scum, Winnipeg’s longest running improvised soap opera. Ashley is new to the stand-up scene and she is loving every minute of it. Her style has been described as “thoughtful, honest, and wickedly silly.” She is absolutely thrilled to be in the Winnipeg Comedy Festival for the first time!
Jessica Seburn
Jessica Seburn
Jessica Seburn is one of the freshest faces on the burgeoning scene, Jessica has been doing stand up for less than a year, and is already being recognized by her generous parents as an amazing talent. She was a regular face at Winnipeg comedy shows, but when faced with personal tragedy she hit the stage to infuse humour into her uniquely dark perspective. She was a performer on the wildly popular Empow(Her)ment show held at The Park Theatre in November. She is currently in her parent’s basement, blogging and writing jokes; she has 4 cats and will probably die alone.
Angie St. Mars
Angie St.Mars is a Winnipeg-based stand-up comedian and theatre artist.
